Covid-19 Firm Update

Dear Client,

Given the rapidly evolving situation, we would like to communicate an update to our policy in response to COVID-19. We will be observing the "shelter in place" lockdown per directive from Alameda, Santa Clara and other Bay Area counties.

While we are closing our office, we will still be working on cases remotely. Our Attorney's, Paralegal's, and support staff are all available to assist you via our online case management system Mycase. Our workforce is well prepared with the technology and tools required to operate as usual during this time. Because we strive to be a technology forward law firm we have already invested in business continuity infrastructure designed to maintain the availability and performance of our services. We have programs such as MyCase, Zoom, Adobe Sign, Google etc. to ensure communication with our clients remains intact.

Although we are diligently keeping up with our case work, the court systems have been impacted. For example, the Superior Court of Alameda County (Court) issued a press release announcing, "days March 17, 2020 through April 3, 2020 will be considered court holidays. Documents will not be received for filing during this period the Court's Fax Filing service will be temporarily suspended." Other Courts may have similar changes, that may impact our ability to file documents with the court and scheduled hearings may be postponed.

We will continue communicating with our clients to keep them updated on their case status. We will also be working with the other parties and/or their attorneys to exchange, serve documents, getting into any out of court agreements if applicable, which will help us move your case forward and bring it to a closure. We are continuing business as usual remotely and we will have all documents ready to file court document as soon as the courts allow us.
